Engine & Performance
The 2023 Chevy Equinox brings a 1.5L turbocharged DOHC 4-cylinder with variable valve timing (VVT), direct injection, and automatic stop/start. This includes six-speed automatic transmission that’s electronically controlled, including overdrive and driver shift control. It allows for complete control over the vehicle during their journey on the road. The Equinox offers moderate fuel economy. The rated fuel economy on the FWD version is 26 MPG city/31 hwy/28 combined while the AWD version gets 24 MPG city/ 30 hwy/26 combined.
Interior
The Equinox seats five, including two seats in the front and three in the back, providing space for others to join (103.5 cubic feet for passenger volume). The cargo volume ranges from 29.9 cubic feet to 63.9 cubic feet behind the second-row seat and the front seats, respectively.
